libextutils-xsbuilder-perl software package provides Automatic XS glue code generation, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libextutils-xsbuilder-perl
libextutils-xsbuilder-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libextutils-xsbuilder-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libextutils-xsbuilder-perl *
You will get with libextutils-xsbuilder-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
